Record a right to work check
Log the method, date, outcome and evidence, and get a follow-up reminder when permission is time-limited.
4 steps · about 3 minutes · For: HR admins and compliance admins
1
Do the check first
Zetta HR records a check; it does not carry one out. Do the check with a Home Office online check (share code), in person with the original documents, or through a registered digital verification provider. The Employer Checking Service covers a few special cases.

Good to know. Keep copies for the length of employment and for two years afterwards. See our blog post on right to work checks.
